If you could look like anything...anything at all....what would you look like? I'd be the wind. ...........It's easy to be someone's friend when all you need is someone to console you. It's much harder to be there for them when they're happy all the time. .............Even when I say nothing, it's a beautiful use of negative space.

I remember about this time last year, my US history teacher told the class to write down our new years resolutions so when the end of the school year came around, he could give them back and we could see how many we had left to "accomplish". I think it was at that moment I devised my list of things I don't believe in. The top of the list was New Years Resolutions.

my synagogue put together (and is currently selling) a tape of songs we sing in sunday school with the kids. I got a copy 'cause I teach there. i've been thinking about the kindergardener's song "Dinosaur Shabbat".
"There's a dinosaur knocking at my door. Knocking one..two..three!
There's a dinosaur knocking at my door, and he wants to have Shabbat with me."
