you were right
One of the things I have always hated about people is when they proclaim how much they love wintertime, but only when it's blazing hot outside. Then, in the winter, all I hear is about how much summer rules. I have never been one of these people. I know I love the winter much more than weather hotter than the depths of hell. I never complain about the cold in February, because I remember how uncomfortable it is to sweat and not be able to do anything about it.
It is finally nearing the end of August, and the temperature gods have finally stopped mocking us with promises of highs of 80 degrees, only to add enough humidity to make it feel twice as hot. It's finally getting close to Autumn. I can wear long pants during the days, and I absolutely love it.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the interior of my office. Even though I work in an apartment which has central air, it is still somehow warmer in here than outside. Which, I might add, makes for some fantastic office-small-chat. "Man, it's nice outside. Too bad it's freakin' 81 degrees in here." "Really?" (Apparently I just assume my sweating when entering the office is due to the combination of climbing a lot of stairs and my need to get more exercise) "Yeah, you didn't notice?" "Umm, I guess not." "Oh, well, you must be one of those people who doesn't have feelings."

I'm the opposite.. I'll never complain about how it's too hot, but you'd better believe I'll be whining when it drops below... like, 75...
