If you could look like anything...anything at all....what would you look like? I'd be the wind. ...........It's easy to be someone's friend when all you need is someone to console you. It's much harder to be there for them when they're happy all the time. .............Even when I say nothing, it's a beautiful use of negative space.

oh goodness

since i leave work around 2 every day, i miss some of the awesomeness that happens in the office near the end of their regular work day. i also work in the tech support department, even though i'm not a part of tech support. they just had an empty desk and i was jonesing for a place to be able to work. but, as it works out for me, they're all pretty cool people and are more than willing to share their stories of morons who call in and need help with things.

for example, i sit down to work this morning, and my desk-neighbor, Charles, looks up and says 'oh, you weren't here for this great call last night.' i gave him my intrigued look, and he continues 'some guy tried cleaning the inside of his barcode printer with lighter fluid.' good thing that guy wasn't a smoker.
