If you could look like anything...anything at all....what would you look like? I'd be the wind. ...........It's easy to be someone's friend when all you need is someone to console you. It's much harder to be there for them when they're happy all the time. .............Even when I say nothing, it's a beautiful use of negative space.

I got your package! I love how you made the candy into little roses for Valentine's Day.(Though when you hold it up they're all wilting roses except for one special rose in the middle.) I took a picture of it and will be eating it shortly after I make this post.

Loved your letter and the xkcd strip.

I'll have to send you something next year.(It'll be good, trust me.)

hahaha i see you put taylor's address to good use, you sly dog ;)

nora, don't forget to post tomorrow.

thanks, iain. you're a doll.

I too got your package. I'm such a Sucka MC for taking so long to get these out! Maybe I can wait just long enough for you guys to forget about it and then BAM! surprise in the mail. Yeah, that's the ticket.

My dad giggled at the roses. I think I may take one to work for the boy. He'll then KNOW you're fantastic. I can't believe that one thing you guys have in common. Maybe it'll be that way for all the special people in my life? Wouldn't that be a strange claim to fame?!

I'm honestly a little mad that I share that with him. I thought it made me special. Also, mail me presents. I like presents.

I am insulted that I didn't get a candy flower package! Not really. Being allowed to post on your blog will make up for it, muahahahaha....

WAY TO RUIN THE SURPRISE. I'll email you the login information later. Also, I get to see you in like a month. That's like a present in itself.

I got your package! An XKCD? On PAPER? Impossible. Impossible! Man, I do love me some candy roses. Last year I kept one and didn't eat it because I liked it so much, but my room is 90 degrees this year, so that may not be such a good idea. Nora!! Where are you?

P.S. The hannah thing totally wasn't a surprise to me.

By Blogger Iain McLeod, at 2/20/2008 1:53 PM

I'm glad someone did.

By Blogger Taylor H., at 2/20/2008 2:07 PM

Sorry, I didn't know it was a surprise! If you told me and it went in one ear and out the other, which is really, really likely, then double-sorry?

By Blogger Hannah Enenbach, at 2/20/2008 2:17 PM

umm i doubt i told anyone except iain that it was a surprise, and even then i was ruining it myself by saying so. so.. forgiven.

also, iain, i'm at work! i'll be home later and will gladly bask in your praise and candy-rose admiration.

By Blogger Nor, at 2/20/2008 2:44 PM

I totally kept one until...like...May of last year and then I had a really bad day at work and came home and ate it and it made me feel better. I think I'll do that again this year.

Also, you know how you sent me the XKCD on paper last year, too? Well, I didn't figure out that wasn't a Nora original until about two months ago when I finally looked through the whole XKCD archive. All that time I'd thought you drew it and then xeroxed a copy for all your valentines. I felt like I'd been hoodwinked.

Man, I leave the longest comments!
